Functional Medicine & Hormone Health: Pricing Guide
How Care Works at BeautyEtc
All patients begin with a one-time onboarding and then transition into an ongoing monthly membership. There are two separate care tracks — Functional Medicine and Hormone Replacement Therapy — each with its own onboarding process and booking pathway.
Step 1
New Patient Onboarding
A comprehensive intake visit, advanced lab panel, lab review, and personalized written protocol. Completed before entering membership.
Step 2
Monthly Membership
Ongoing care, monthly check-in visits, portal messaging, prescription management, and protocol adjustments. $250/month or $2,500/year.
Why Membership?
Most patients who come to functional medicine have already spent years in a conventional system — 10-minute appointments, normal-range labs, no real answers. The membership model exists because real healing doesn't happen in a single visit.
At $250 a month — less than $9 a day — patients have a dedicated provider who knows their case, tracks their progress, and adjusts their care as their body responds.
VS. CONVENTIONAL CARE
A typical PCP visit for hormone concerns is 10 minutes, a TSH test, and a referral. With BeautyEtc, patients get 30 minutes every month with a provider who has read their full history, reviewed labs in depth, and built their protocol from scratch.
VS. doing it alone
Most patients are already spending $200–$400/month on supplements without testing or guidance. Membership replaces
guesswork with a clinically informed protocol adjusted in real time.
For HRT Patients
The membership is what keeps the prescription active, doses optimized, and hormones monitored safely. The monthly touchpoint is the clinical relationship that makes ongoing hormone therapy possible and effective.

Transitioning From HRT To Functional Medicine
Many HRT patients eventually choose to explore functional medicine more broadly. A one-time upgrade fee applies to cover the additional intake work and advanced lab panel. Your monthly membership stays exactly the same.
Common Questions
Do you accept insurance?
BeautyEtc Aesthetics is a direct-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds for membership fees and lab costs. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Are lab costs included in the pricing?
Yes — your initial lab panel is included in your onboarding fee for both FM and HRT tracks. Follow-up labs, when clinically necessary, are billed separately through the lab. Mary will always discuss expected costs with you before ordering.
How long does the onboarding process take?
For both tracks, your follow-up visit is scheduled at 2 weeks — allowing time for labs to return and for Mary to prepare a thorough review. Most FM patients begin seeing meaningful shifts within the first 8–12 weeks of following their protocol. HRT patients often notice symptom improvements within the first 4–8 weeks.
Can I transition from HRT to functional medicine care?
Absolutely — and many patients do. If you begin with HRT and later want to explore functional medicine more broadly, a one-time upgrade fee applies to cover the additional intake work and advanced lab panel. Your monthly membership stays the same.
Is there a patient panel limit?
Yes — intentionally. BeautyEtc Aesthetics maintains a small, focused patient panel so that each person receives Mary's full clinical attention. When the panel reaches capacity, a waitlist will be opened. We encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later.
